The Japan Foundation (JF) is celebrating its 50th anniversary since its establishment in 1972.
 
On the website commemorating the 50th anniversary, ISHIZAKA Kenji, Tokyo International Film Festival/TIFF’s Senior Programmer, has collaborated on an article entitled “International Film Festival: A Great Opportunity to Experience Other Cultures, Everyday Lives and the World’s Diversity.”

In 2022, JF and TIFF continued to co-present the TIFF Lounge (formerly Asia Lounge) during the 35th TIFF as part of the joint program. This year, the events were available online for the public, and the following video can be viewed on the official TIFF YouTube channel until Wednesday, December 28.
