The Jury President, Director Yukisada Isao, will continue from last year, and jury members will include Production designer Heya Kyoko, the director of this year’s Nippon Cinema Now entrant Lightning Over the Beyond, and as well as composer, Hanno Yoshihiro, and also Prime Video Original Content Producer, Hayakawa Takayuki, and the actor Takiuchi Kumi.
 
Films by seven finalists will be screened at TOHO Cinemas Chanter (Screen 1) at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 24, the opening day of Tokyo International Film Festival. The screening will be followed by a discussion between the Jury President, Director Yukisada Isao, and last year’s Amazon Prime Video Take One Award winner, Director Kim Yunsoo, and Kodama Takashi, Country Manager of Prime Video Japan.
 
The award winner will be announced at the Closing Ceremony on Wednesday, November 2. The recipient will receive a cash prize of 1 million yen from Amazon, as well as receive the opportunity to explore the production of a feature film with Amazon Studios and to work on the development of a script. Look forward to new talents from Tokyo who will be spreading their wings to the world.
