After careful consideration, the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival has decided that it will not implement the Event Discount Campaign that the Japanese government will launch on October 11 for this year’s event. We came to this decision because we have already started pre-order and sales of tickets for some of the films (pre-order period: Sept. 23- 26, purchase period: Oct. 3-5). Also, the system modifications necessary to set discounted rates cannot be completed in time for the start of general ticket sales from October 15. Therefore, please be advised that all tickets for the festival will be sold at the currently listed prices without discount.
